I am a Disability Adjudicator by trade. I am also a retired Army Major having served 25 years in combination of active duty and reserves with 3 combat tours. I hurt my neck in 2000 while lifting weights and gained a lot of weight. I discovered Triathlon and lost all the weight and then some. Since then, Triathlon is a way of life. I have completed 4 ironman races, several half ironman races and too many Olympic and Sprint races to count. I got a roll down slot for Ironman 70.3 Worlds which took place in Las Vegas in 2012. I withered and died in the 106 degree heat (my Achilles heel). In 2020, I will the d3 Multisport plan to prepare for Ironman Arizona. If my 55 year old body can take it, I would like to finally break 11 hours. Praying for cooler weather.
