Describe a little bit about yourself and your interest in triathlon
Started at the age of 50 after being a life time runner. Was inspired by my oldest Uli, when she qualified for Kona and my husband and I went there to cheer her on. Since the. I completed many races, among the, 7 full distances even though I said I will never do an Ironman! I suffered head injuries in a bike accident in 2014 when I ended up under a pick up who turned into me. The helmet saved my life!! In 2017 I ran Boston and qualified for Kona! It was a demanding year since there were two additional races added to the race schedule because I had qualified for these races.?
Covid threw a kink into racing. Last year I completed my bucket list race: Roth! It was a great event! This year is supposed to be big again since I am aging up., except…..we are in the process of a big move that includes downsizing. It will take a lot of discipline.
Btw: I am not really present of social media. I do have a Facebook page so I can communicate and stay in touch with organizations of different nature.
