Describe a little bit about yourself and your interest in triathlon
Remembered watching Ironman races on TV, most notably Julie Moss in 1982 and was instantly captivated and regularly watched the sport from that point forward. Was a high school competitive swimmer. Started endurance distance running in the USAF. When living in Alaska, was in search for a personal challenge to compliment and give purpose to working out and started training of an IM70.3. Finally raced an IM70.3 in 2019. Despite 4 knee surgeries, operations on both shoulders, a wrist fusion, 3 hernia surgeries, and being an asthmatic I love to train the three disciplines. But still learning to train smarter each season.
